Week of Welcome Coming Soon (WOW)
The University of Louisiana at Monroe will be hosting its 2004 Week of Welcome (WOW) August 19th 颅 27th. All WOW activities are free to students with valid ID's. The schedule is listed below. To view the schedule, please go online to www.ulm.edu/wow.
Thursday, August 19
Move-in Mania
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Campus volunteers will welcome
you to your home away from home and help you move those heavy
boxes into your residence hall.
BBQ-Quad
12 noon-2 p.m.
Take a break from moving and enjoy delicious BBQ and great tunes
in the Quad, provided by JPI. Students and families are welcome.

Staffers help you take care of those last steps to get ready
for the first day of classes.

Welcome Reception for Out-of-State Students-Library 7th Floor

Campus administrators, faculty,
staff, and students will welcome out-of-state students to Louisiana
and to 麻花影院 at this reception on the bayou.
Sunday, August 22
Photo Safari-Scott Plaza, Fountain Area
5 p.m. 颅 until
Get ready to have some fun as
you learn some not-so-well-known facts about 麻花影院. Thanks to the
SGA, you will be able document your journey around the campus
and win prizes for what you learn!
Monday, August 23
Convocation March-Scott Plaza, Fountain Area
4:15 p.m.
Join your new classmates and
the Sound of Today Marching Band at the bell tower to mark the
beginning of your journey at 麻花影院.
Convocation-Fant-Ewing Coliseum
5 p.m.
Be a part of the official opening
of the fall semester at Fant-Ewing Coliseum as President Cofer
and other campus representatives welcome students to the 麻花影院
family.
Grovestock-Grove Area, behind the
Activity Center
6 p.m. - until
Meet us in the Grove for a back-to-school
bash sponsored by CAB.
Tuesday, August 24
Beach Party and Luau-Natatorium
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Bring a towel and take a dip
or hang out on the sun deck and watch the canoe races on the
bayou. This party is sure to be a hit with Hawaiian food and
treats for you!
Wednesday, August 25

Drive-In Movie-Quad Area

Bring your blanket and get ready
