The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) at the University of Louisiana
at Monroe will offer four free workshops as part of their week-long celebration of
small business. The organization is also premiering a new look as part of a nation-wide
rebranding effort.
Small businesses can take advantage of the workshops, which are specifically designed
to help their business grow.
鈥淲e have partnered with several agencies throughout the state to bring these workshops
to northeast Louisiana," said Virendra Chhikara, LSBDC senior business consultant.
鈥淭hese are great workshops for existing businesses who don鈥檛 have a lot of time to
spare, but could use a few tips on how to take their business to the next level.鈥�
The training event schedule is as follows:

- From Noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, the 鈥淩epair My Credit鈥� workshop will be held
- From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, the 鈥淐ertify My Business - 8(a) Certification鈥�
workshop will be held
- From 11 a.m., to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, the 鈥淏rand My Business鈥� workshop will
be held
- From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, May 14, the 鈥淕row My Business鈥� workshop will be
held
All events will be on the 麻花影院 campus at 401 Bayou Drive, Stubbs Hall, Room 117.
